New Guy looking for advice

Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 94 Z28. I currently have a tired LT-1 w/ ATI Pro Charger that I'll be swaping for a low compression 383 stroker and upgraded D-1 charger. But first things first I need to upgrade my rearend. My question is 9inch or 12bolt? Is there a weight advantage to one or the other?

Also thinking about going to a ride tech level 3 air ride system, anyone have any experince with their systems.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The 12 bolt is lighter and takes less power to turn. It's also cheaper to build if you are using all new parts. You can build the 9 inch by getting a housing and axle package and then use a junk yard chunk if you want to do it as cheap as possible.
