As far as I know yes. Engine was installed in a 79 Firebird that went through a very expensive correct looking restoration by another shop. Owner did not receive any info on the engine when he got the car back. So, unfortunately I do not have any specs, but by judging the rest of the meticulous work on the car, I have no worries about this engine. Price is negotiable.

I might be interested in the starter if you want to separate it. I think its the same part number as a Pontiac and should fit my Poncho. If thats the case i may be interested.

Is this an Olds 455 or a Pontiac 455 considering it came out of a Firebird. If Pontiac I might be interested.

Thanks!

It is an Olds. It was suppose to be a 403, but a guy that was interested in the motor told me it was a 455. I am not familar enough with these to know. I do know it is not a Pontiac

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for a Pontiac motor to replace SBC 350 in my 70 Firebird.
