Does anyone make kickpanels for a 69 camaro w/speakers?

Not that I could find. I had a stereo shop try to customize my existing and put speakers in and they ended up looking like crap so I removed them.

Are you just going without now? Where are your speakers?
Any ideas on how you're going to replace those?

Year One carries them as well. They were used in their convert they built.

I couldn't find pre-made kick panels for speakers, after much brain stroming I decided to use the factory option and install 4X6 infinity kappas in the kick panels and use the factory grills for a factory option look. For the rears I'll use speaker boxes for 63.5i infinity's and place them in the seat or floorboard corners. this topic has been thoroughly covered at Camaro's.net/convertibles/speakers. If you have a coupe your options are much better.

I haven't been able to find them for a 69' in Year One. What part number? Where are they on the site?

I'm looking for the same thing. Right now were thinking that the best thing to do is modify a pair of aftermarket kickpanels. I think there is a niche here that some enterprizing autophile could fill. Any takers!

I saw where someone fiberglassed a round 61/2 speaker into the kicker. The glass was necessary to keep the water out since it located in the space where the fender drained, the front portion of the kicker with the largest body panel opening. The drawback that I saw to this design was that the speaker was located in the forward portion of the kicker-to far underneath to achieve good sound/volume. I modified my after market kickers(cut openings for the 4X6) and will install the stereo today. I'll keep posted.

Well I looked in Year One and couldn't find them. I know I have seen them advertised somewhere. Here is the link for the kick panels Custom Autosound makes. One is a Camaro but it does not tell you that.

Looking at my Classic Industries catalog, it looks like the third one down is for 67-8 and the fourth one down is for 69. I would call and double check though. The factory installed 4x6 speakers in the stock kick panels. Classic industries sells the repro grills for them.

If you do a search for a 69 camaro in the custom auto sound website, nothing shows up for kick panels applicable to the 69. You do the same search for 68 and they show up. I thought that one of the pics looked right but evidently you'd need to call to verify. It just didn't show up as them having the correct one for the 69.

There are pictures here of some that were made for my brothers 69 convertible. They made a fiberglass enclosure that fits in the floor vent and is hidden by the kick panel.
