Hello all, I have a 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix 455ci Auto car w/ 67,xxxmi. The 455 has let go. And I'm a chevy guy at heart, and so is everybody else I know. Hell I dont blame them, its CHEAPER. Any how- Currently have a Moser 9" in the car.I'm going to replace the Poncho with a SBC and a Muncie 4-speed. Clutch is going to be actuated by a HYD. foot pedal.

Not sure what motor mounts to use... since it was PONCHO, I think I need a Late model 78' and on Motor mount?

Thoughts, comments , hate mail?

Thanks.

Everybody like FUN when Fun = CHEAP.

What happened to the 455? Not fixable?

Use the motor mounts from a 73-77 Chevelle/Malibu, should allow you to bolt in the SBC. Most of the frames from that era already have all the holes in the crossmember for the different engines GM used. The mounts from a 73-81 Camaro may work, not for sure though.
