I am looking to purchase some new shop tools like a break and and a shear. Can any one point me in the right direction on a web site or company to go with? Phillip

There is some inexpensive Jet stuff on e bay. Jet is made in Taiwan or somewhere, but really is not bad stuff for casual use or home shop.

I'd look into one of the 3 in 1 machines. If this is geared to your own personal use these machines are pretty handy for the price...

Thank you for the help. Those 3 in 1's look pretty good.

Harbor Freight also sells various types of breaks and sheers and the 3-in-1 tool.

I have the HF 3 in 1 30" model. I got it this past Christmas when it was $100 off. I have used the shear and the brake. I was very impressed. Of course, this is the first piece of sheetmetal equipment like this I have ever used, but the shear made life much easier. The brake allowed me to make bends slightly larger than 90 degrees. I would recommend the unit for a hobbyist like myself.
