I currently have the Flowmaster Force II transverse muffler setup in my '80 Camaro, and truthfully speaking, I'm getting sick of it. The interior resonance at idle makes your ears feel like they are getting clogged, the muffler heat shield vibrates at 1600rpm under part throttle and annoys the crap out of me, and the position of the muffer between the rear end and gas tank makes for some difficulty to work on the rear.
So I want to change it out for a true dual system, and really don't want Flowmasters anymore. Everyone and their mother has them. I want a nice sounding muffler to give my car that classic muscle car chop, yet not be annoying and make my neighbors throw eggs at me.
I have heard the Dynomax Super Turbos behind a healthy BBC, and they sound nice. What I'd like to hear is the Ultra Flo's if anyone has a vid or sound clip they can post or email me. Or if anyone has any other suggestions on muff's, let me know.
