Maybe the hole in the LCA is too big for the bushing?

What kind of bushings are they?

stock control arms? well yes the hole can get too big, they are stamped sheet metal after pressing bushings in and out a couple times the hole will get bigger, and if you have been doing some spirited driving the twist on the control arm will oval the hole and pop the bushing out.

tubular trailing arms with spherical bearings will solve your problems

You could try and tack weld the bushing sleeve to the arm as well for a temp fix if you plan on using those bushings.

Those metric cars werent the greatest about aligning the LCA mounting holes. This causes the bushing to flex as the control arm cycles. Combine that with heavy compression loads from cornering forces, and that may tend to "walk" the bushing out.

I built some IMCA modifeds off those chassis way back when, and I always had to take a long drill and run all the way through the LCA axis to get solid bushings to work.
