I have just installed a 96 LT1 into my 69 Firebird.

I am looking for a full length ceramic coated header.

Does a standard small block header work?

Any sugestions?

Yes it does? an Ltl uses a regular SBC exhaust pattern! You will have no problems finding a set that will work!

I'm using headers from Stainless Works on my LT4 in a 69 camaro. Header ports are bigger than head ports. Clears power steering box. Nice pieces.
I know this was brought up before. Though don't remember who else has headers.

I ended up dimpling the hooker headers slightly to clear the steering box. Apart from that, no problems.

I've found Street and Performance have headers for my application.

Any experiences with them?

Any group purchases with them coming up?

The ones I am looking at are the type III.
