What do most of you use to paint with, respirator made to handle the isocyanates or fresh air systems?

lol...respirator...what should we use....fresh air... we had one but it was such a pain in the butt to drag around and climb in and out of the bed with it we quit using it.the hose would get tangled up and slap a panel then you had to go back and fix it... but def better on your health

Thats kind of what I was afraid of. The fresh air hose on the ones I've seen looked large and cumbersome. Any preference on brand or style of resperator?

just a reg 3m respirator and change it often. good flow in the booth and you will not notice much

A fresh air system is definitely better, but a pain in the behind too. I use one when I'm sand blasting, but for paint I just use on of the 3-Ms, and change the filter and charcoal canister often. A good seal is important!!! I have some leak by, because I always have some sort of beard, and this will alter the sealing characteristics unless the beard is trimmed to fit completely under the mask part.
