View Full Version : Plugs and wires - what are you using?

What do you guys use now a days for plugs and wires – at stock for my Superram I was using AC Delco 43XLS plugs – and then went to NGK plugs – and now looking at E3 plugs. Any preferences – what about Accel U Groove shorty plugs – one of my boots always gets cooked on the header, and was considering them.
What about wires – looking at the Accel 8.8 Graphite set?

Taylor 409 Race Wire with NGK's-best combo you can use. On sprint cars, the MSD SuperConductor wires don't hold up well to high stress/vibration like the 409 Taylors do-not an issue for a street car, but if you want the best...Taylor gets the nod from me. Multiple spark discharge is not the answer but MSD's expansive advertising will lend you to think otherwise....lol. There digital boxes are great but their wires imo are not at the top of the heap.

Moroso 8mm wires & ACDelco plugs.
Do those E3 plugs even work? And if so do they make a long reach plug for Vortec heads?

Taylor, Belden(NAPA),Jacobs wires. AC,Denso Iridium, and surprizingly Motorcraft plugs.
E3 Diamond Fire so far live well in a nitroused Raptor Jr dragster for a friend.

taylor wires/7 NGK's and one accel shorty plug--vortecs and headers don't always work perfectly.
