I read past posts about the various choices in for MC's for the C5 to 1st Gen swaps. Since my Touring Classics Kit finally arrived yesterday, I am considering whether to use their supplied manual MC, or go with a vacuum assisted setup. They suggest the 67-76 manual corvette master cylinder for a power application.

I've never driven a manual brake setup. What difference in braking effort and feel can I expect between the two setups? What do most of you guys prefer, manual or power? Is the only reason most people choose manual because their engines are cammed to much to produce vacuum at idle, or are there other considerations?

Thanks, you've all been a great help with my past posts so far. This forum is great!
