Extending a C5 Torque Tube

Anyone know of a place or even know if it is possible to extend a corvette torque tube? Im looking to do a custom install and need it 4" longer. It will be a 6spd tube if that makes any difference. Is there an easier way to extend a corvette chassis? Any info would help greatly. Thanks

Id try and post this on a vette forum but i am sure they will want to nail me to the cross for chopping up a C5. :machine:

Seems like you could use two torque tubes and make one as long as you need it.

How much are you lengthening it? Carbon Fiber driveshaft or?
