What is the consensus on the best rear G-body suspension upgrades for pro-touring and some street/strip action? Is the best available still the upgraded and commonly available aftermarket UCAs and LCAs with quality shocks/springs or is there something better? Watt's link? 3-link? Coil-over? I'm planning on 500-600 peak hp.
Thanks!

We are pretty impressed with the Hotchkis set up on Michael's 86 Monte Carlo.

Well, I'm impressed by all of your work! I checked out your website. Wow!

In what ways have you pushed the Monte and been pleased with the rear set up? Thanks.

I made my own coilover setup and used aftermarket upper and lower control arms.
I wanted to run the watts link from SC&C but it was not available yet.
SC&C is a really good source for the GBody suspension. I would look and see what he is offering now.

I haven't been able to find info on the Watts Link on their website... is it still not ready?

Nice work BTW Jeff!

I really like the Currectracs... Just took my car for a ride yesterday with lower Currectracs and UMI adj uppers with rod end on the chassis side :)

The ride is just fantastic.

Just good hell raising on the street and good seat of the pants feel. It will get some autocross time now that the transmission situation is fixed, (had a ill acting 200R4 in it, now a TKO600). We also have to factor in that the car is widen a good 4" and has 12" rubber on the front and 13 1/2" on the rear so that probably helps a little too.

But long story short it rides well and handles well.

As for the watts link. I have a customer in Norway that just did one and he loves it.

G body, that rear crossmember set up looks killer.
