Drop spindles are not high on the list for most around here.

You can probably check out www.chevelles.net for info too, while you wait for more info here.

Springs don't cost as much as spindles. But I don't know Chevelles.

already have springs my deal is the guy that had my car welded those brakest on the stock spindles so they will acceps disk brakes. but when he drilled the holes he messed up and the brake pads do not grab the rotor that much. and since i need new spindles and the car could be dropped a few more inches i thought i would just go with drop spindles.

All of you guys are posting links that talk about f-body suspension. He is asking about using a dropped spindle on an A-body. What's wrong with using a dropped spindle on an a-body?

Bill Howell is removing the dropped spindles off the Goat 'cause he's going with Air Ride. I dont know what ones they were, or if he will be selling them, but he did have Wilwood brakes too.

All of you guys are posting links that talk about f-body suspension. He is asking about using a dropped spindle on an A-body. What's wrong with using a dropped spindle on an a-body?How different, really, are A-body and F-body suspensions? I believe the same drum spindle was used for A-body and F-body during that time period. Obviously the steering arms are different for the front-steer/rear-steer differences, and from Marcus's posts the direction that the arm needs to move up/down differs between a/f bodies.

However, I don't know what the differences are in the dimensions between the A and F UCAs/LCAs, and even if I did I wouldn't be able to tell what effect it would have.

My point being that I don't see the drop spindle issues on an F-body being that different from what you'd get on an A-body.

As usual, though, I do reserve the right to be completely wrong.
