I just got my coilover conversion DSE from the Big Brown Truck today..

I was reading the directions while at work and had a question. First of many i am sure.

It says the the coilover has to be removed to adjust the ride height!!

Why is that? Can you just jack up the corner so there is no pressure on it and tighten the castle nut??

Thanks

LOL!
No, the coil over is mounted upside down, so you have to completely remove the entire assmbly from the vehicle to adjust ride height.

Our Chicane-LM coil over will allow you to adjust the height in car.

Is DSE's coilover different than QA1's? I've always bought the QA1 front coils and I adjust them "on car" all the time.

DSE uses Koni Coil overs ..

See above....DSEs coilovers are mounted upside down and thus the adjustment ring for the coil is up in the spring pocket and the valve adjustment is on the top of the shock rather than on the side.
