Hi Everyone I need to get shocks and a swaybar for my 69 Camaro. It has DSE 3" drop springs in front with tubular uppers and factory lowers with Delrin bushings. The rear has an Air Ride G bar but no shocks. So I figured I would ask how you guys like the shocks you used. And any recomendations for a swaybar? The car will be 99% street driven but I would still like it to handle well.
Thanks in advance Wayne

I have QA1 shocks.
They are a little too stiff , even at the softest setting.
I would like to compare them to Bilstein or Koni for ride quality.

I also have a huge 1 1/4 " front swaybar.
There was a small interference with the front crank pulley , so I installed smaller diameter crank pulley.( 8" vs. 6 3/4" )
The bar I got also has the traditional end-links with bushings.
I would like to try a bar with the joints in the end links instead.
I have already seen a significant amount of wear on the endl-link bushings.

So , I would recommend a 1" or 1 1/8" swaybar with endlinks with joints instead of bushings.
And maybe Bilstein or Koni shocks for a better street ride. ( Maybe )

We sell a lot of Hotchkis shocks and sway bar. Are you sure you have a 3" drop spring? That seems like a lot of drop for a coil spring.
