Doing my research here I've seen the leaf springs with an extended second leaf and quarter wrap around the front eye. How much does it compromise this arrangement to use a reversed eye spring for lowering with a second leaf that comes out close to the front eye?

Are you going to be reversing both the front and rear eye to lower it ?? I hope your answer is yes... otherwise I hope you planned for the rear RC change from this. It will also change your IC...

Well... obviously, you can not do a partial wrap with a reversed front eye... but you can lay the second leaf right up to the seam. The only real issue that I can see is that if the spring gets loaded enough... will it unload the front spring eye and allow the bushing to possibly move. (??). This will be answered by the interfearance fit of the front bushing to eyelet.

I personally dont think that you will have any issues.

Thanks, that's very helpful. Yes, the plan is to reverse front and rear eyes. Thanks also for addressing the RC and IC issues, I had wondered if those would be affected.
