Has anyone trimmed a set of Eibach's with luck? I'm looking to get another 1.5 to 2" drop from them. If you did, how much was taken off and how did you seat the rears after they were trimmed? Thanks for any help!

Which part number are your refering to??

Most Eibachs are of a progressive design... and if you cut them, you will ruin them. Not only will the rate be changed but you can not control the finished height when cutting them. Most of all people that I know about cutting a progressive rate spring normally make small initial cuts... and then the final ride height drops lower than what you would speculate from cutting even a small amount... like that of a quarter coil.

But... if you have a linear rate spring... have at it. Just cut small amounts until you get the height you want. And yes... this may require you to cut and then re-install the springs, dirve around for a day... and then possibly taking them out again to make another cut. You may have to do this a few times... but the effort will pay off in the long run.

Remember... you can always cut more, but never add back to it.
