They have been out for a few months now, so I am wondering if people have some experience and what they thought about it. Cheaper than MSD, but is as good or better?

summit boxes are rebadged mallory units. this comes direct from the CS rep at summit. i have never used one but never heard bad things at all.

That was my guess as the specs are the same and it has the same case.

I'm on my third 'mallory' - and yes Summit is just a rebaged mallory. I have nothing against MSD I was just trying to save money. The fact that Summit contracted with Mallory to do a branded version makes me feel Mallorys are fairly competative. Those who run in competition more often may be able to comment on subtle performance differences. Certainly it has made my engines run smoother and seam more responsive.

You say you're on your 3rd, like they are going out on you?
