Hello
I'm building a PT '54 Chevy 2 door to run as a daily driver and mild track time. I've got all the suspension from a c5 and plotted in a cad system and suspension analysis program. I'm trying to make all those numbers and graphs come into reality and imagine what it will actually be like to drive. I've been driving a '90 porsche 944s2 and love the feedback you get in the steering. It feels like you're part of the road and I want to acheive a similar feel in the chevy. I'm wondering what effect scrub radius has on that and also the steering ratio.
here's my specs so far (at static):
FRONT
wheel: 9.5"
tire: 265/35 18
offset: 2.125" (7.375 bs)
track: 60.5"
kpi: 9.213"
scrub radius: .48"
0 bump steer

I'm wondering if the scrub radius is too small. also wondering if you could run a quick ratio rack to counter the lack in 'feel'. just an idea. I'm thinking about pulling all the chassis points in a .5" and run a little less offset. let me know what you all think!
peace out
