Just did my first alighment using a Fastrax (thanks Mark - SC&C!).

For ease of repeatability and accurate caster I'm looking at these Rand turntables on ebay:

Any experience with this brand or recommendations? TIA.

No help on the turntables, but if you have more info on the Fastrax I'd be interested.

Hi, Dan

http://www.scandc.com/tools.htmThanks Rick. That tool looks like it contacts the wheels on the inner lip. Is the "scratch probability" high?

I've put it on/off many times with no scratches. There's small plastic nubs on the tips. Makes it easier to fall off :)

I have used this tool quite a few times, works great but watch for it falling off. No wheel scratches yet, but if you are clumsy, you could possibly scratch a wheel. One cool thing is that the car doesn't have to be perfectly level. You can set the tool next to the tire, zero the bubble and then put it on the wheel and align it. I even checked it by moving the car around to different spots and it works every time. Randy

I like it. Just want an easy way to repeatedly get the 15* wheel angles for caster.
