How hard is it? I can get a deal on a dominator, but one booster got damaged and needs replaced, how tough is it to do?

You need a booster tool. Used to be the only way to get one was from Holley and you had to be a dealer. It might be cheaper to buy the damaged carb and have it gone through by a good carb guy. You're probably going to need a tune on it anyway.

Actually on a Dominator you don't need a tool. You'll just use an Easy-out to remove the original stake tube and pull the booster out. The tools are used on the smaller 4150 style carburetors.

bg . is right it's a piece of cake on a dominator. just pull the stake out drop in a new booster, and tap the stake back in.
