I have a big shot plate system and want to create 150hp although it is reccomended for 200-400. Has anyone tried this set up. Nos says they reccomend at least 175 shot due to larger lines and selenoids. I purcheased the larger big shot rather than the cheater since I plan to freshen the motor over the fall with larger ring gaps to handle a 200 shot. Current motor is built well. Motor was not originally going to be sprayed. Ring gaps could be bigger.

yes it can be jetted smaller . pressure drop is greater across the jet because of the larger line versus a small jet . but the bootom line is
it don't matter much . watch spark plug readings to adjust fuel pressure correctly . i ran 61 n 55 f @9psi on my setup . yours may vary . you must watch plug reading just like you were jetting .120n-.120f . a little n2o or a lot requires the same attention to detail . Mike

I agree - I have run a NOS Cheater plate down to 50HP (rated at ~125 min.) and it worked fine.
