I received my new axles from Strange engineering yesterday. I looked over the instructions and basically just want to make sure I put the bearings, seals and locking collar together correctly. Please correct me if I am wrong but it looks like the seal goes on the axle first, then the bearing, and then the locking collar and all gets pressed together. Anything I am missing? Never worked on a 9" before. Thanks Chris

On a stock set up the attatching plate goes on the axle first, then the bearing gets pressed on. Then press the seal into the housing with a little silicone around the perimeter. Install the axle in the housing. A set up from Strange may have attatching plates that are shaped like a horseshoe with an open end. In this case you can just set the attatching plate in place after the axle is in.
