Gents I took my LS7 to the dyno and it ran great. 549hp at 6200rpms. The tuner brings the car to 7000rpms and the check engine goes on with a P2101 and P1516 code. He resets it and does it again. I can drive it all day long normally (no WOT to redline) and not have codes pop. I have the TB connector disconnected and noticed pin C has continuity to ground. I peeled back insulation all all looks ok, but I also noticed a bare stranded wire that is inside the bundle with the wires. Where does this go? Is pin C supposed to have continuity to ground?

Its ts a GMPP harness and I’m stumped!

I hope a new TB fixes it. I went ahead and ordered a new one. It’s just that this one is new...Now if it’s can figure out if pin C is supposed to have continuity to ground.

Well I swapped the TB and spun it to 6800-7000rpms a few times and no CEL. I’m hoping the TB was the issue, but I did check and wrap the pins. I’ll drive it again today.
