I have a 69 Camaro and I am curious what opinions are on the best value in front upper and lower control arms and also rear 4 link suspension. I want to run coil overs to be able to control the ride height and be able to run a 9 to 10 inch front wheel without clearance issues. I am not set on any one brand but I don't want to spend more than is needed if there are quality options available. Any opinions would be great.

Are you looking for a budget approach, or are you not concerned about the cost? Is the car going to be a driver/cruiser or do you intend to autocross or drag race it? Four-Link is supposed to be better for drag racing, a torque-arm setup better for handling... or at least that's what I've heard.

I went with Helix upper and lower control arms... kind of middle of the road price wise. Made in China but CAD-designed here in the states and they actually have tech support here unlike many of the eBay bargain control arms and they are useable with coil-overs if/when I switch. I replaced the balljoints with ProForged units upper and lower, used the "tall" uppers. Hotchkis 2" drop springs, Global West Coil seats, Helwig 1.125" front sway bar. I'd call this a moderate approach price-wise.

If money was no object... I'd be putting a full chassis underneath, maybe an IRS or a torque arm. My rear end is stock... for now. Its a project for down the road.

Ohh I would contact Mean 69 for An LD 3 link. I think they are going to reopen shop. and You CANT beat the LD 3 link PERIOD =) They were also working on a KILLER front setup as well. TOP NOTCH service. ^is right The 4 link is more suited to drag. the 3 Link does both VERY well..

Do you have a Budget? I'm not trying you to spend more, but it is easier to answer given a Budget.

I, biased, like our Products - Full Bolt-On, so you don't have to be an engineer and spend a fortune on extra gear.
