Has anyone swapped in the complete corvette steering system into a 1st Gen Camaro?

I'm looking at getting the ATS AFX or C5 spindles, and know that my steering will need to be upgraded as well.
I can get a full C5 front end and think that the steering assembly might be a good upgrade for my 67.

Are the overall widths different?
Will the steering box work with stock Camaro column?
I'm sure I would have to fab in a mounting for the rack, but anything I haven't thought of?

Thanks for your input.

This project is much more complicated than you think. First, the track width for a C5 Corvette is way wider. That being said, everything gets more complicated if you want to narrow it.

Buy ATS spindles and control arms, buy an upgraded steering box, be happy.

Thanks Andrew, that's what I thought.
