Latest Delphi 600 steering gearbox suppliers?

So is there a reasonably priced GM Delphi 600 gearboxes nowadays from any vendors?

I had a conversation with Marc at SC&C about this a few months ago. He knows every single supplier, which ones are sourcing castings from low cost countries, and which ones are any good. (Just because it is sourced from LCC's does not necessarily mean its garbage, many vendors put considerable resources into their quality control, others do not). But this is why I trust Marc. Hope this helps, I saw you had 50 views and no replies, so I figure something is better than nothing(I hope).

I don't recall Delphi 600 series boxes selling any where near $500 ever. I remember when they were $699. But now, most are $900+.

$449. Wow. That was a bargain I missed.

We typically only ran blueprinted boxes from Lee, Turn One, Sweet, etc, so that was my reference.

PSC's 12:1 600 series boxes are significantly cheaper on their website than on Summit at $499 for the 600 series 12:1 Pro Series w/ choice of T-Bar. I haven't called yet to understand the difference.

Lee is back in business and I think his company has the best name and I've never found anyone disappointed with their boxes. I'll be getting mine from them eventually.

No problem, I recently installed one on my Cutlass. I've never driven a car with a Lee or Turn One box, so I can't compare with the "OPGI" box. However, this box is low resistance for the first few degrees of movement either direction, then it has a nice feel and feedback. At first I didn't like the low off-center resistance, but after putting some miles on it... it's great for cruising and making minor steering inputs to stay centered going down the road. This is not to be confused with the dead on-center feeling the original boxes had.
