I PM'd RideTech yesterday, but have not heard back yet, and I'm bringing my '67 Camaro in for an alignment today. LQ9 engine, 245/40/18 and 275/40/18, Guldstrand mod, front sway bar, big brakes, Ridetech TruTurn/4 Link. Would like to run a bigger front tire soon.

The Alignment specs on the website are pretty broad...

Camber -.5 to -1.5
Caster +4 to +7
Toe -1/8 to -1/4

I want the car to handle really well at the track (the reason I upgraded from the Hotchkis TVS system this fall), but I still need it to cruise well...What numbers should I have them shoot for? I was going to go in the middle and say Camber -1, Caster +5.5/+6 and Toe -3/16. Is this reasonable, or should I be more aggressive and aim for the higher numbers? Thanks in advance.

It all depends on how race oriented you want the car to be. If you're wanting to drive the car on the street and track, the numbers that I typically give for a happy medium are:

Camber: -.5 to -1
Caster: 3* to 5* (can be made more aggressive for the track if needed)
Toe: 1/16" to 1/8" toe in

The biggest factor in setting your alignment is preference. If you want a track car, aim for the aggressive numbers. However, it will effect the street manners/tire wear.
