Didn't feel like getting under the car, so I grabbed this pic off the net of a chevelle with hellwig front bar. Not sure what your end links were in your kit, but mine are like this...

I had a quality issue with that bar where one side was not bent inwards enough and the whole bar ended up shifted to the right in the bushings. I'm sure they are CNC bent which means the quality control should be great but somehow bad ones get out the door.

Yours at least looks symmetrical but the extra width will eat up tire clearance. Maybe if you adjust the height of the end links the angle of the bar flats would improve. Beyond that I would send those photos to Helwig and get their opinion.

I run the same bar. Yes it is a little wider than I would like. I made my own end links to get it to work. I wish I would have went and bought UMI sway bars instead. I will probably upgrade to a UMI front bar or build a splined unit myself. I also had to drill and add bolts/nuts to the frame since I pulled them out of the frame threads.

Same here. I wish I would have bought the UMI bar instead of the Hellwig. I also received a bar where angles were out. In my case, I purchased longer link but the link end angle is still too severe for my liking.

Usually when the load is even on the front end it should srtaighen out.Are both lower control arms supported evenly?

Yes they are. Just to be clear its the bend angles determining the width of the bar were too wide appart just like in ergu's pics causing the end links to look like this when finally installed: \ /

My only guess is its more accommodating for tubular arms. Did you contact hellwig? Thats not fair
