I had leaking at my stock steering box after some autocross events and decided to install a 82 camaro box with 12.7 ratio. I also changed the stock pump to a sweet pump. The issue is hard steering almost like manual especially at low rpm. I didn't realize the sweet pump is at 1000psi. I am wondering if better to go with a pump rated to 1300psi or try using a pressure control valve. Would like some thoughts before my next autocross.
