I am towards the end of my ls3 swap in 72 camaro and seems like everything becomes some sort of obstacle..

I have purchased the holley alternator relocation kit and purchased the recommended c5/c6 power steering pump which I got from turn one..

The problem I am having is that the pulley is litterly right on the fitting for my power steering pump..

Looks to be about 6.5" overall for pulley.. any suggestions?

If I somehow find a smaller pulley do I got to get a smaller balancer? Is there a different type of pump fitting I can use?

Thanks

When I swapped the LS into an 86 Monte, I had same issue, I used smaller pulley, I believe it is for a CTS-V, GM part number 12578552.

Thank you. DId you have to use a underdrive pulley also?

i didn't change balancer. Figure there isnt a big difference, & figured the crank pulley is the same dia for all, & doubt pumps are that much different.

Also FYI, the part number above is discontinued, but buddy at GM dealership says there is 3 dealers that have them in stock still.

I think Holley sells a smaller diameter pulley.

Dirty Dingo sells a smaller pulley also. Put one on my 68 Camaro with an LS3. Pulley was real close to the upper control arm.
