Hoping someone can chime in. Have a '56 Chev pickup, the rear is boxed it's a 2x6 frame and it's all ready for a 4 bar rear end with hopefully a sway bar. Hard to come across as the frame is 29 1/8 inches wide, narrower than the car from the same era that's around 37".
Only AME make a 4 bar with sway bar but you can't buy a truck rear end as a kit to weld in yourself, you have to buy the entire frame which I already have since I've boxed and C sectioned my own.
But you can buy as a kit off AME to weld in that fits everything else🙄 Just not the narrow truck frame.
Any suggestions who else might make a 4bar with built in sway bar. AME has a beautiful pick up frame, I just can't afford to buy it to take out the rear susp and throw away the rest.
