Hi, I picked up a car that the motor was swaped out and the oil pan is in the way of the sway bar now. I can make it work from behind the front tire near the rack an pinion. The front suspension has tension rods to a bar type lower control arm than to a coilover.

Its a 79 Toyota celica with a 3sge beams motor from an altezza.
I know it is an import but is rear wheel drive and 6spd trans. The motor rev to 8000 rpm and makes 200hp to the tires and is 2000 pounds.

Any help would be great thanks Rob

I don't see why not. As long as it clears.

Can you swap out the Oil Pan?

The old sway bar was high, and ran throw the frame rail. So the new motor is very tall and long. The sway bar runs into the top part the oil pan where in mounts into the motor. It hits the front about 4 in back from the front the motor.

Need pictures. I love old Japanese cars. Oh, and update your build thread :-)
